Client Problem
Monte di Lavanda is a boutique guesthouse in Italy. The owner needed a central place to present its apartments, amenities, and local activities, while reducing the time spent answering the same guest questions repeatedly. The starting point was a general visual direction and a collection of photographs, without a defined visual identity.
The Solution
I used the owner’s recurring guest questions to shape the website’s content and navigation, creating a journey from discovering the property and comparing apartments to exploring local activities and planning a stay. I brought the logo, colors, typography, and imagery into a consistent visual identity and built a responsive WordPress website.

Color palette
The client wanted an earthy palette inspired by the Tuscan countryside. I translated that direction into soft off-whites and muted neutrals for the main surfaces, charcoal for readable content, and terracotta and lavender accents that echo the property's architecture and natural surroundings.

Typography
I wanted the typography to evoke the character of old books and give the website a timeless, literary feel. Cormorant Garamond gives headings an expressive, editorial look, while Lora provides a complementary, readable typeface for longer descriptions and practical information.

Iconography
I selected the Laces icon set to help guests quickly find practical information, including travel options and available amenities. Its soft, rounded linework adds a handcrafted feel that complements the website's natural, understated aesthetic.
